Hi, I came outta the closet about 3 years ago and I've dated only 2 girls, and I'm just really afraid that I'm never going to find anyone. My mom keeps saying that I'll find someone eventually, but I really hate being alone all the time when every one of my friends is in a loving relationship. I try to think good things about myself but I always end up thinking "if you were really that pretty and special then someone would like you." I just don't wanna be alone anymore...
There will be someone who comes along and you will be happy with, I assure you. I’ve only been with 2 girls properly, it’s not a bad thing. Your mum’s right, you will find someone eventually, you’ve just gotta put yourself out there. Join clubs, lgbt youth groups, ask people if they know some lesbians you can hang out with. Be confident, and stay positive. If you can make yourself happy being single, you have a better change of being in a happy relationship.
Don’t ever think you’re not pretty, or not good enough. There will be someone out there who loves you for who you are, you’ve just got to stay strong, and positive! :)
